In August 2023 the PICT team undertook multiagency trauma care training with Scottish Fire and Rescue and the Scottish Ambulance Service.

This included technical rescue and vehicle extrication skills, lead by the rescue specialists from Scottish Fire and Rescue and provided an excellent backdrop for the team to practice its procedural skills in relation to providing enhanced analgesia, sedation and amputation.
