The Faculty of Remote, Rural and Humanitarian Healthcare (FRRHH) at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh is in the process of awarding its first cohort of Members (MFRRHHEd) and Fellows (FFRRHHEd); which is quite a mouthful, but whats membership and fellowship all about?
These two membership grades seek to recognise excellence in the fields of remote, rural and humanitarian healthcare internationally.
The Faculty awarded a total of 47 Fellowships and 13 Memberships during the inaugural round of applications, and a PICT clinician was fortunate enough to be among those to be awarded Fellow status.
For anyone who missed the opportunity to apply for Membership or Fellowship during this round; the Faculty EoLC be accepting another round of applicants in summer 2024.
